Good to know before you pick

Languages
The Pest and Buda Castle walks are narrated in English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Arabic. The 1956 and Food walks are in English.
Castle Hill
Climbing is optional. Most of the height can be done on the escalators and lifts of the Castle Garden Bazaar, and the funicular from Clark Ádám Square runs straight to the palace.
The Food walk
The tastings are not in the price: allow about 24,000 HUF a person, and 14,500 HUF more to visit the Dohány Street Synagogue. Share plates and you will still have room for cake.

Before you go: our Budapest city guide. What's shut on which day, free toilets and water, what things cost.

Questions

Which one if I only do one?

The Pest Walk: 1 h on the flat with Parliament, the Danube shoes memorial and St. Stephen's Basilica, in six languages. Add Buda Castle with the bundle for the view across to Pest.

Can we listen together?

Yes. Pick 1 to 10 seats when you buy, one for everyone on the walk, you included. Each person hears the same stop at the same moment on their own phone.

Do I need a signal on the walk?

Not for the stories: tours you own download to your phone, so the audio plays without a signal. The street map in the app needs a connection.
